Thrift Flips Exposed: How to Cash In on Your Thrift Obsession
From Bargain Bins to Bank—Your Blueprint for Thrift-Based Earnings

A Thrilling Thrift Store Adventure at Goodwill
Welcoming a New Team Member
After a hiatus, I returned to Goodwill with a special guest and new channel member, Ashley! As a busy mom, I’ve been feeling overwhelmed, so Ashley graciously joined the team to help with filming and more. We’re diving into the treasure hunt at Goodwill, ready to uncover unique finds, have fun, and share the experience with you!

Exploring the Water Bottle Section
Our first stop was the water bottle section, where I’m always on the lookout for trendy items like Stanley tumblers, which are incredibly popular. I spotted a unique Brew Mate tumbler that caught my eye. After checking comps, I found it could fetch around $100—definitely worth researching further! I also grabbed a purple camo flask, as flasks often sell well if you find the right brand.

Discovering a Beauty Advent Calendar
Next, I stumbled upon a Harrod’s 25 Days of Beauty advent calendar. Though likely empty, the case itself was stunning and sparked an idea for a DIY advent calendar for my kids. A quick Google Image search revealed empty cases selling for $65 on Poshmark, while full ones go for $700. At $10, I decided to add it to the cart—both for potential resale and personal crafting fun.
Scoring in the Dress Section
In the dress section, I found a Tularosa dress from Aritzia, a Canadian activewear brand known for its quality. This fit-and-flare dress, priced at just $7, typically resells for $35-$40, making it a fantastic pickup. I also spotted an Ishak TE dress in size 14 with beautiful floral embroidery. Though comps have dipped to $25-$40, its condition and style convinced me to grab it for $7. Additionally, I picked up a Sundance embroidered dress ($40 comps) and a Prana dress ($25 comps), both in great condition and perfect for flipping.

Swimwear and Leggings Finds
In the swimwear section, I found a Beach Riot leotard top in the Kiki Wave pattern, retailing for $132 but with comps around $50-$60. Hoping to find matching leggings, I headed to the leggings section and found Club Ride cycling pants ($35-$40 comps) and passed on Bogner khakis due to slower sales. I also grabbed Just Female Emmy trousers for $5, with comps at $50, and Revtown jeans for $6, which consistently sell for $30.

Anthropology and Vintage Gems
The anthropology section yielded two treasures: Yaya flood pants with a Chevron print ($40 comps) and 22 Twill low-rise cargo pants, perfectly on-trend for Y2K fashion. I also found a Mercy one-size-fits-all piece ($50-$70 comps) and Free People Movement leggings, always a reliable seller. A pair of Kirkland joggers, Costco’s Lululemon dupe, came home with me for personal use—they’re practically identical to Vuori!
Footwear and Sweaters
In footwear, I snagged Naot sandals for $6 ($30-$40 comps) and Nike Air Max 90 Futura sneakers for $8, which I plan to clean up for a potential $120 resale. In sweaters, I picked up a Ralph Lauren Aztec print sweater, a cool striped hoodie ($25 comps), and an Ivy Jane linen top with tags ($35 comps). A vintage L.L.Bean made-in-USA fleece ($30-$40 comps) was a nostalgic find.

Jackpot in the Jacket and Purse Sections
In jackets, I took a chance on an NLT Made jacket for $10, with comps suggesting up to $100. The purse section delivered the highlight of the trip: a Loungefly Disney bag with Mickey and Minnie designs. Initially needing paint touch-ups, a magic eraser worked wonders, revealing it in near-perfect condition. Comps suggest it could fetch over $100 after cleaning.
The Final Haul and Treat Time
After over four hours and $191 spent, we celebrated with Chick-fil-A, thrilled with our haul. The Loungefly bag cleaned up beautifully, and with everything tallied—including the advent calendar I’ll keep for crafting—the potential resale value exceeds $11,000! I’m excited to steam, clean, and list these items on my eBay store, where you can use the exclusive coupon code ASHLEY30 for 30% off (stackable with existing 20-25% off sales).
